During the last month of senior year, I was selected among three students to create a proof-of-concept film. Senior Assassin has been a project I’ve worked on since late 2024, the concept started as a short film screenplay that expanded into a feature. The film follows a reckless teenager named Mason who accidentally destroys the urn of his late grandpa. Desperate to hide the destruction before his estranged father Gary finds out, he recruits his cowardly best friend, Finlay to compete in their school’s senior assassin tournament to win the pot in order to replace the urn. The proof of concept is currently in post production and will begin it’s festival run in late October 2026 to seek funding and distribution for the feature-length version.
